Welcome to Pearman Antiques situated in the pretty market town of Newark on Trent, Nottinghamshire
home to Robin Hood for daring do and Byron for poetry and passion.
For those interested in the culinary there's the Bramley Apple, the best cooking apple in the world.........mmmmm I smell pie.

Our shop is on Castle Gate just across the road from Newark Castle, Newark being the mainstay of the Royalist cause in the English civil war in 1643.
After three years of war and being ordered to by Charles I the town reluctantly surrendered and the defences were destroyed but the ruins of the castle remain.
Incidentally, on a cheery note King John died of dysentary in Newark in 1216 - no, it wasn't too much pie.
Explore historic Newark and browse round our three storey Georgian townhouse full of antique furniture, decorative items and soft furnishings.

Happy Antique Hunting
